Ritz Carlton Sarasota

Written by Sheila on August 30th, 2011

What a rare treat for a bride to have the Ritz Carlton in Sarasota to prepare for one of the biggest days of her life.  Sasa and Crystal did all their preparation at the Ritz, whisked away to the Sarasota Garden Club for a sweet shot ceremony and then back to the Ritz for their formal photographs. A lovely couple and a gorgeous night!

Back over to the Ritz Carlton to take full advantage of their lobby and courtyard.

Love this shot and how I captured it.  The fountain in front of the Sarasota Ritz Carlton provides the backdrop for this photo.

 For intimate ceremonies or grand Sarasota wedding receptions, the Ritz Carlton will exceed your expectations.  Romantic, elegant and sophisticated.   I am inspired to try new poses and get new ideas for future weddings every time I work at the Ritz Carlton.

Thank you Sasa and Crystal for being so sweet and so much fun to work with. { Sarasota Wedding Photography }

Sarasota Garden Club Wedding

What a fun place to get married, the Sarasota Garden Club. You have the entire space to plan and fill with whatever theme you have for your wedding.  Christine and Richard booked me over a year ago, knowing I was “the one” for their wedding.  We sure did make some magic on their wedding day.  So much fun and happiness filled the walls of the Garden Club. Christine hand made all the decorations and signs herself!

Sarasota Garden Club, a hidden gem for events and weddings in Sarasota; lush foliage, gorgeous trees and green grass, and lots of year round flowers blooming.  Thank you Christine and Richard for letting me be part of your special day and for posing for me and doing whatever I threw your way, you guys rock!

Hyatt Wedding, Sarasota Florida

Written by Sheila on July 20th, 2011

Katelyn was planning her wedding with James all the way from Japan.   I was in between studio’s and she really wanted to meet with me and see some more of my work.  After sitting at a coffee shop for just a few minutes, I knew that if I was hired for this wedding, it was going to be special.  Hours after meeting she called me up and said that she didn’t need to look any further, she knew I was “the one”.  Flash forward to June, just about a month ago here is a handful of some of my favorite photo’s from the wedding.  So, so sweetly in love – Katelyn and James had the wedding of their dreams and I was there to capture it! I get the goose bumps everytime I think about how closely connected this couple is.  The Hyatt did an amazing job.  I would also like to add that the flowers and the cake were exceptional too!

This may be the single most favorite detail bouquet shot I have ever photographed.  It is completely untouched and straight out of the camera with NO enhancing.  I am proud of that.  Putting my camera on manual and playing with the F stop really pays off if you know what you are doing.  http://www.elegantdesignflowers.com/

The Cake was created by The Cake Zone, simply stunning and perfect in every way.

The Hyatt is a mecca for creative, artful photography for any Sarasota Photographer.

Sarasota Yacht Club Wedding

Kenneth and Chrissy were married on June 12th in Sarasota Florida at the beautiful St. Barbara’s Greek Orthodox Church.  The lighting in the church was just stunning for photography without flash and the ceremony was a full Greek Mass, which if you have ever attended is very beautiful with many Greek traditions.  After the ceremony at the church and a quick stop at the statue we all know and love, we headed over to the all exclusive Sarasota Yacht Club for a beautiful night of  traditional Greek dancing and dinner.  How much fun with all the music and energetic dancing.  I can not say enough about the impeccable  Sarasota Yacht club!
