Siesta Key Wedding; A Romantic Evening

Thursday, October 10th, 2013

Ok, this is the first time I have photographed such a unique intimate setting on the beach in Sarasota. A photographers dream is realized when they show up at a wedding that is unlike any wedding they have photographed before. This is one that I would say is right up there with being so individual and unique. From the crackled pillars, to the benches with cushions for a family only ceremony. Both the bride and groom recited their hand written vows in English as well as in Spanish.  To the very intimate, romantic dinner placed  under the banyan tree in the courtyard of their resort. I’m blessed to have been part of this wonderful evening. Lets get going with some photo’s shall we?

Love that Siesta Key white sand and azure water of the gulf of mexico.

The entire wedding. I love how intimate this wedding is. Family. Don’t get me wrong I love big wedding parties also. But this afforded me to really take my time and get really creative with the wedding.

Beautiful feather bouquet handcrafted by the brides father. Stunning for the beach and gulf of mexico.

What a handsome gentleman!

I’m so happy for Amber and Andy and so pleased they they held true to their vision. What a beautiful bond. Wishing you well love birds!

Siesta Beach Wedding

Wednesday, January 26th, 2011

Ashley and Brian (and baby) make 3!  This adorable couple had a small gathering on the beach at the north end of Siesta beach – a cold, grey and windy day- the couple, the day, the family and the photo’s were fantastic anyway! Congratulations and Enjoy!

Walking Down the Aisle- on the Beach

Friday, October 29th, 2010

The sentimental walk down the aisle is stunning when the aisle is a wooden bridge onto one of Sarasota’s white powdery beaches.  Just as I get sentimental at every wedding I photograph… I cannot grow tired of photographing weddings on the beach… Siesta, Lido, & Longboat Key’s sights and sand are blissful settings for the perfect beach wedding!

I am an admitted pure beach bum, always have been.  Nothing makes me happier than an amazing beach and that amazing blue azure water that you find all over the tropics. If you haven’t  discovered the beauty of Sarasota, a destination that is not only perfect for a beach wedding, but is also one that enables you to relax as well as enjoy breathtaking scenery and warm hospitality.

Siesta Key Weddings

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

Siesta Key has the worlds finest and whitest sand, or so they say – whether that is true or not, Siesta Key is an amazing backdrop for your ceremony, beach party, or photographs.

Siesta Key Wedding scene

Imagine a sunset wedding on the beach, with gentle breezes off the Gulf of Mexico. Or perhaps you want a traditional wedding in a little church, but on location in a tropical paradise. Siesta Key is the perfect place, full of picturesque spots for splendid wedding photographs, with all of the assistance a bride could need close at hand. So many people enjoy their wedding on this little piece of paradise.  Whether it’s just the two of you, or 200 of your closest friends and relatives, Siesta Key has everything you need to create the wedding of your dreams.
Your ideal ceremony could mean tropical clothes and standing barefoot on Siesta Beach, judged the world’s finest, whitest sand. Or gowns and tuxedos under a flowery arch. It might include a champagne toast overlooking the bay, a festive boat ride to your wedding location/reception, or a gourmet restaurant nestled in a tropical garden.  Sunsets are my wedding photography special!
