You all want to know what kind of style my assistants and 2nd photographers have as their shooting style; Why my style of course! Talented and passionate in their own right about photography, here are a few examples of  photographs taken by my 2nd photographers. Enjoy – they ROCK

I will be adding more, but I hope you really enjoyed seeing the artistic endeavors of the photographer I work closest with.  All these photo’s were taken in the last few months.  Thanks for looking and thank you Matthew and Eric.

This year will be a great year for a wedding in Sarasota. Venues have been upgraded, including the Hyatt and the Ringling Museum, some prices have been reduced because of the economic impact of property valuations, and everybody is ready for a good party!  I will be opening a new photography studio in downtown Sarasota soon, and there will be some great surprises at our grand opening.  We have some brand new cameras and lighting equipment for wedding, engagement, and portrait photography, as well as some new options for albums and wedding websites.

For couples looking for a memorable, individual and moving wedding, Sarasota is a destination offering elegant estates and stunning natural surrounds. Sarasota is also home to world-class resorts able to expertly weave together your wedding celebrations. Check out my recommendation page for venues, and many other wedding services.

See you at the wedding!

A wedding party of your dreams

A wedding party of your dreams

We love the Ringling Museum for a wedding venue. The architecture, art, and beautiful grounds make for a spectacular setting.  For a wedding filled with charm, elegance, grace, the venues at Ringling Museum fulfill all your dreams.

A little history about the museum:

In 1925, Ringling commissioned the New York architect John Phillips to design a building befitting of his impressive art collection, a museum that would take its inspiration from the Renaissance and Baroque palaces and museums of Italy.  Construction began in 1928, and in October 1931, The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art was officially dedicated and opened to the public.

Today, the Museum of Art displays European, American, and Asian works of art in its permanent collection galleries.  The collection of Old Master paintings, highlighted by the Baroque period of the 17th century, is among the finest in the country.

Even if your not planning your wedding at the Ringling Museum, be sure to visit when you have a chance.  The museum is also an amazing place to take engagement or pre-wedding photographs.   Enjoy some photo’s from a recent wedding done on the grounds of the historic John and Mable Ringling Museum of art!

Romance at the Ringling

Italian art isn’t the only thing happening at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota. It is a great place to do romantic shots. The skylights and the large paintings create a beautiful light. Nicole and Steve’s wedding started at the Ritz-Carlton for family photographs and bridal portraits. The ceremony and reception took place in the courtyard of the Museum in March 2009 with about 75 guests in attendance. I gave the couple 250 edited pictures.
