Downtown Sarasota E-Session

Wednesday, March 20th, 2013

The windiest day in Sarasota 2013: The gust were so strong we almost cancelled this shoot. But the lighting was so beautiful. What to do when your all dressed up and ready to have your photo taken but the wind is whipping around? Find the nearest tall building to block the wind. A really pretty vine covered building in downtown Sarasota. My secret hiding place.  This is the always adorable Josh and Brittany who are getting married in 2014.

I love this shot.. no engagement session is complete without some nice shots of the engagement rings: Sarasota engagement photography

This is my second photo shoot with the adorable Jessica, who is getting married to Matthew on Saturday December 11th. We did an engagement session a few months back, check out their images in the pages to the right under ‘Jessie and Matt ‘.   They will be having the ceremony at the Christ Episcopal Church in Bradenton Florida.  After the ceremony we will be heading to the Lakewood Ranch Country Club for another wonderful reception. I just love the red doors of this magnificent church!

Wedding on the Bay

A beautiful wedding by Sarasota Bay at a private location. Ray and Pete met at New College and after being married in spirit for several years decided to make it official and gave all of their many friends a chance to join them for a celebration.

This Years favorite Pick for a Sarasota venue is the stunning Powel Crosley Mansion!

The estate features the graceful styling and architecture of a bygone era and yet has all the modern amenities that make for a successful staging of almost any event. Near the Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport, the Powel Crosley Estate sits on Sarasota Bay just south of the new University of South Florida campus on North Tamiami Trail/US 41. The address of the Crosley Estate is

One Seagate Drive, 8374 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.  It is one-half mile north of the University Parkway and US 41 intersection. University Parkway is exit # 213 off Interstate 75.

The Crosley Estate offers plenty of free on-site parking. Handicap accessible parking is available.

I have never seen a more magical venue for a wedding. A beautiful, Mediterranean style mansion right on Sarasota Bay. Dancing under the stars. It is absolutely gorgeous at the Crosley. The architectural details are seemingly endless and one of the best things about the

Crosley is that the whole place could be “yours” for the day. Not a random swimmer or wandering tourist will be in sight. The perfect venue for a historical and old Spanish colonial ambiance. It is the mix of antique and tropical that you might bedreaming of.

If you’re looking for a venue that is classic, and original than look no further than the Crosley Estate. Photography opportunity at the Crosley – every time you turn the corner or enter another of the amazing rooms in the Crosley Estate, you see another creative photo in the making. If Photo opportunities are important to you – this is one our top choices for a classy, sophisticated wedding!
