Bohemian St. Pete Wedding
Monday, August 22nd, 2016Shaun & Kate: Vintage Beach Wedding, Sirata
Tuesday, December 15th, 2015Kate and Shaun’s vintage inspired wedding at the Sirata Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach. I love the color combination and the old books used on the tables. This wedding was full of personal touches and sweet moments. It was so obvious that this couple was thrilled to be getting married. They were surrounded by amazing friends and family. The night was full of dancing, great food and laughs. Special thanks to Kimberly Hensley who did a fantastic job: If you need a wedding planner: www.kimberlyhensleyevents.com
Vintage Inspired Wedding, Garden Club Sarasota
Wednesday, December 5th, 2012Over a year ago, Tracy and Dave came to me and told me they were getting married and wanted me to photograph their wedding. When tracy, who is truly magical at creating and designing wedding details, was describing her wedding and the details, I was getting very excited as the particulars emerged. I was thinking: romantic, vintage vibe. Right up my alley. Dave and Tracy are the kind of couple love stories are written about – warm, funny, stylish, and completely adoring of one another. Their wedding was held at the Sarasota Garden Club nestled in the north corner of downtown Sarasota and was full of personal touches giving it an intimate, boutique look and feel for this vintage inspired wedding.
An incredible amount of special thought and attention to detail by the bride herself went into this wedding. Nearly everything was designed with thought and care by Tracy, what a gift she has and here are the photo’s to prove it.
A bouquet made entirely with brooches! Just wow..
and I was absolutely in love with her shoes, I am sure anyone who follows this blog will notice I am a sucker for shoes and shoe shots.
The ring bearer! Foxhill’s Juicy Couture, you can call her Juicy.

Love this capture the moment, Alice in wonderland style!
After the wedding and photo’s on the grounds of the garden, we headed for a quick stop at the beach for post sunset shots.. so glad we did. Stunning. Then off to Ophelia’s on Siesta Key, for a quaint and romantic dinner party.
Again, Tracy is a genius, just look at what she did with the cake! I was speechless.
They are two of the sweetest people, and it was a joy to work with them: I wish you a life time of happiness Dave and Tracy!
Sarasota Garden Club Wedding
Sunday, January 15th, 2012We have our very own Secret Garden here in Sarasota; just like the book. Unknown to many people who even live here in Sarasota. It is perfect for a small or medium sized wedding – and very affordable. Ashley and Clayton married in the gardens late November.
The Garden Club, nestled in the north corner of downtown, near the Hyatt hotel has everything a photographer dreams for.. well I do anyway. Lush grass, heavy full trees, ponds, rustic benches, unkempt stepping stones and fresh flowers galore. The combination of the sun and the blushing bride Ashley had all my attention – I was inspired by the combination! Check it out.
Back inside for the girls, a little freshening up and getting ready for that walk down the isle. Lets see what’s happening in the hall where the reception is taking place later and a quick hello to the guys on the other side of the building. I am in love the the vintage hand mirror and the brassy tea pots for flower pots on the center tables. Here are some more details:
I departed the Sarasota Garden Club that night and the party was just peaking – Such a tight knit crowd of friends on the dance floor singing and dancing, I dare not interrupt. I just let myself out and captured this closing shot on my way home. Thanks to Ashley and her dad for finding me and for that contagious smile you’ve got Ashley! Congrats.
