Kate and Shaun’s vintage inspired wedding at the Sirata Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach. I love the color combination and the old books used on the tables. This wedding was full of personal touches and sweet moments. It was so obvious that this couple was thrilled to be getting married. They were surrounded by amazing friends and family. The night was full of dancing, great food and laughs. Special thanks to Kimberly Hensley who did a fantastic job: If you need a wedding planner: www.kimberlyhensleyevents.com

Destination Weddings, Sarasota
Tuesday, September 28th, 2010This is the most special moment in your life and you want to savor it. You want to commemorate by making the occasion unique and pleasant. You don’t want to go to the church in your locality and do it like the rest of your family members or your friends. You want to make sure that your partner (or rather, would-be partner) remembers and cherishes the moments throughout her lifetime. Yes, I’m talking of your wedding, guys.
The best way to do so is to go for a destination wedding and you know what it is. It is not a new term to you. You know what elopement wedding or wedding-moon is, don’t you? You have already made up in your mind that you want to travel to a beautiful location and celebrate your wedding ceremony over there and also, might continue with your honeymoon as well. It will be a small family affair and more opportunity to enjoy every bit of the moment.
Relax, enjoy yourself, and laugh! While some things may not go perfectly throughout the planning process and/or the wedding they are usually things you cannot control – like the weather! Let your specialist handle as much as you feel comfortable with – and more! Once you arrive on the island where you are to be wed, you will meet your wedding planner and be able to fine tune everything. The most important thing is to remember why you are getting married in the first place – your love for each other. Going with a Destinaition Wedding will be a truly memorable experience for everyone!
Siesta Key, Longboat Key, Lido Key, Casey Key and Manasota Key as well as Bradenton, Venice and Anna Marie Island, are all a part of this beautiful Sarasota community just south of Tampa.
Siesta Key is best known for it’s flour soft, white, “Top 10” beaches. The water is super clear too. You can still see your toes clearly when you are chin-deep in water! Siesta Key is also know for the “Broken Egg”, a wonderful place to have breakfast!
Longboat Key is ten-and-a-half miles long but narrow enough to see the water on both sides at the same time. You will find wonderful resorts, many catering to beach weddings there.
Venice Beach is known as the “Shark Tooth Capitol of the World”. I don’t know who appoints these titles but, they do have a lot of shark’s teeth! You can rent what is known as a “Florida snow shovel” to help you in your search for such a treasure.
Anna Maria Island is a gem. It is nine mile of pure heaven. It has everything you need and want in the way of activities and amenities yet it is calm and tranquil. If I were thinking about Sarasota beach weddings, I would consider getting married there. I’d stay at the White Sands Beach Resort and have the Sandbar cater my event!
Anyway, take your time, browse through the vendors specializing in Sarasota Beach Weddings, I am certain you will find the perfect spot for your beach wedding! For Elopement and Destination Packages, I highly recommend working with Sand Petal Weddings. All the images on this page where photographed by myself and all the decorations, set and coordinating was designed by Sand Petal Weddings
